Get Fit, Franklin County is a movement; a call to action to get moving!
According to the 2015 Community Health Needs Assessment, only 17% of our County’s residents reported having exercised for 30 minutes, 5 days per week. Our goal is to increase that number.
We encourage all community members to adopt more active lifestyles for healthier lives. Any increase in physical activity is a step towards a healthier you, but here are the National Guidelines for physical activity:
Adults: Move at least 150 minutes every week
Children: Youth 6 to 17 years should get at least 60 minutes of activity every day
