Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and as we maneuver through what is hopefully the final stages of the pandemic, community members are embracing the warmer weather and mentally break free from the stresses of the past two years. Making your way through any stressful situation is a process and can be dealt with in many ways. Physical activity has been shown to help relieve stress and anxiety overall.

With summer months approaching fast, many individuals are starting to get anxious, ready to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. However, there is still cause for concern about being outside during the COVID-19 pandemic and how to properly stay safe. While you should feel free to soak up the warm weather and get some fresh air, there are ways that you can enjoy yourself while practicing social distancing!
