September is Suicide Prevention Month and with the pandemic still gripping the country, an increasing number of individuals are finding themselves experiencing more stress and depressive symptoms than ever. If you are one of these individuals, remember that you are not alone and there is always someone that you can talk to. Don’t be afraid to talk about it.

You can’t always see pain. Did you know?

  • Suicide is the 11th leading cause of death in Pennsylvania with one suicide occurring, on average, every five hours in the state.
  • Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death among 25 to 34-year-olds and the 3rd leading cause of death for age 10-24-year-olds in Pennsylvania.

You can increase the chance of survival in the event of a crisis.
